I took a quick tour last week for Limón's VIP Grand Opening. The nuevo Latino fusion restaurant has moved from the Vilaggio Shopping Center to the Riverview Shopping Center on Friant/Fort Washington between Sakanaya and The Standard.
Try one of their pisco (Peruvian brandy) drinks with a friend, snack on an empanada, and congratulate them on their new spot!
Limón's business hours and contact info:
Monday - Thursday: 11:30am to 9:30pm
Friday - Saturday: 11:30am to 10:30pm
Sunday: 11:30am to 9:00
9455 N. Fort Washington Suite #101
Fresno, CA 93730

Hope they make it. That corner has been notoriously tough for resturaunts. Are they going for more club vibe?

I don't think so. It may look like that from the video, but it was just because of the Grand Opening celebration. They will start having happy hour specials for the after-work crowd. The patio seems like the perfect spot for that.

As of Tuesday they weren't doing Happy hour specials and when I asked mentioned only internal dialougue was discussed about offering them. Huge mistake IMO. Ended up at 5 for their 5 burger, carmalized onions, mushrooms, avacado, gouda cheese, etc.. $6.50. With a 3.5 Fat Tire bill was $10.80. Best happy hour burger I've had so far in town and easily the most filling. Had Limon offered the HH wouldn't have thought to end up at 5.

I hope they DON'T do happy hour specials. All that brings in are the flip flops bros and bad dye job chicks that roll out for the cheap eats, the $3 bud lites, and then tip $2 on their $16 tab.
Or it brings in folks like RL who relish in their $10.50 total bill like it was some sort of victory.

I have to say, I loved the old location. It was so convenient. I hope that this spot works out for them...

Just wanted to note that I held my wife's 40th birthday party here this past weekend. We included 16 of our closest friends. We were seated in the banquet room on the side, which is a pretty roomy for a server to walk behind everyone seated. The host & servers were all very pleasant and a pleasure to work with.
The food was nothing less than fabulous! We had an assortment of appetizers (Chicken Empenadas, Ceviche, Chicharron de Pollo, Jalea (Fried Calamari, Shrimp & Fish). All were great!
I got to sample one salad: Ensalada Verde and it was awesome. The Balsamic Vinaigrette used was great.
The main dishes: Chuleton - Pan-roasted Pork Chop very nice. The Arroz con Mariscos was outstanding. Pollo Latino - The chicken was great. Salmon - Awesome. Seco De Cordero - Pachamanca-braised lamb Shank - Very good. My wife and another friend had the Parhuela - Peruvian style Bouillabaisse (Great!). I (and three other friends) had the Escabeche de Pescado - I can't explain how much I enjoyed this dish.
Great job Limon! My wife's 40th will be remembered for a very long time :)
