What happens when you mix great food, music and art (at lunch time)? People come--even if it's downtown. That's what happened at CArtHop on Thursday, at least.
I went early, but some of the vendors were already running low on food from the turnout. Then, I received a text from a friend: "Why didn't you tell me about cart hop? I would have gone today, loser." Word was spreading that this was the place to be for lunch. And for good reason: Dusty Buns, Casa de Tamales, Mattie's Wood-fired Pizza and Summertime Pies were all serving up delicious eats.
