At 5:00 p.m. today, I'll be on KFCF 88.1 with Tom Willey of T&D Willey Farms. Tom hosts a monthly radio program called Down on the Farm.
I met Tom a few weeks back, though I've known about his community-supported farm for a few years. He fascinates me—his understanding of agriculture and of the local food community is immense. Today, we'll be talking about building a local food culture, and how the web can play a role.

I enjoyed the show. When I have 8 spare hours, I plan to try the red beans and rice.

Derek, I thought the recipe was posted, but I can't find it - I'll locate it and get in on here. It may be possible to cut the cook time down to six hours :-)

I heard most of today's show and am happy to learn of this website. I'll check it out later to look for new restaurants.
I get a CSA box from Tom Willey and so I do a lot of vegetable cooking. The recipes that come in the T&D Willey box are chosen and modified to fit the produce in the box and they are EXCELLENT.
