In the Bag: The Co Family at Manchester Market

Meet Kristen Co and her two children, Jackson and Mia. As summer winds down, the Co family enjoys their time outdoors at the Manchester Farmers Market.

Aside from the fresh produce, going to the farmers market is a fun way to get the kids out and about. It’s interactive, and the Co family loves to walk around to see what new things the farmers market will have in store.

“The kids love the tastings,” Kristen smiles as Jackson and Mia indulge in a sample of fresh honey, “it’s the perfect afternoon treat.”

Unlike some others in town, the Manchester Farmers Market is fully equipped with several food trucks: a one-stop-shop for fresh produce and lunch. Kristen and her kids ventured to the trucks to try the Korean tacos, and were happy they did.

To Kristen, it is very important to support Fresno’s local farmers. At the Manchester Farmers Market she looks forward to the great produce, friendly people, and fun atmosphere. The market is open every Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
