Anaheim Amor is a unusaul salsa. It is made with Anahiem chiles, jalapeno's and El Mexicano sour cream add salt. You can eat this salsa with Pizza, toca's, meat and chips. The flavor's combined are out of this world. yummy. This fine recipe was passed down by my Mother-in-Law. She's a fine cook. Whenever My Mother comes into town we're in the kitchen. She's the best, she can make nothing into something always, along with all her other great recipes.
12 Anahiem chiles, 9 jalapeno's, 2 16oz of El Mexicano sour cream and salt.
Roast the chiles, sweat them in a plastic bag for a few minutes. Peel off the skin and deseed. Chopped up the chiles put in pot together then add sour cream along with salt. salt to taste. Stir on med/low for 20 min. Yummy, you can serve hot or cold both are Satisfaction.
