Steven has spent the last few months as an intern for my company, Paprika Studios (yes, I have a real job). Since he's a lover of food, I had him work on several TasteFresno-related projects—his is the first of a short series of videos that he shot to capture the faces and stories behind his friends' favorite recipes.
Sift dry ingredients together. Separate eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff. Beat egg yolks, butter, and milk into flour mixture. Fold egg whites into batter. Makes 9 4" pancakes.
For buttermilk pancakes use 1 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/4 tsp baking soda. Add buttermilk in place of milk increasing slighly.
