This recipe comes from my mom's aunt, who is a foodie from "across the pond."
Preheat oven to 350°. Boil onion in pint of water with parsley and bay leaf. When onion is soft, set aside. Empty the stuffing into a large mixing bowl. Add half of the onion water and stir. Mix up the onion in remaining water into a mushy mixture and add to stuffing and stir to combine. (Should look wet but not runny.) If necessary, add more water. Put in a greased 13x9 dish. Pour some meat juices on top and cook in oven 30-45 minutes until crispy and brown on top.
