Taco Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 head garlic (or garlic powder)
  • 2 cans pinto beans, undrained (1 can with jalapenos)
  • 2 cans whole kernel corn, undrained
  • 2 cans stewed tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 pkg. dried taco seasonings
  • 1 pkg. dried ranch dressing mix
  • 1 bag Frito's or corn chips
  • Grated cheese for topping

Instructions

Brown meat with onion and garlic. Place in crock pot or into a large pot for stove-top cooking. Add all other ingredients except for chips and cheese.

Cook in crock pot on high for 4-6 hours; cook on stove top for 1-2 hours.

To serve, place corn chips in a bowl, pour soup over chips and top with cheese.
