This recipe is from my Aunt Marlene who also makes a killer chicken and yellow curry recipe. **Special note - pronounce almond without the "L."
Mix together all PASTRY ingredients, set aside. Mix together all FILLING ingredients, set aside. Divide pastry and filling into 8 parts. Roll pastry into rectangles, 18"x6". Fill with filling to within 1" at each end. Roll pastry over filling to make roll and seal ends with water. Put on cookie sheet with edges. Brush tops with whipped egg white. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Makes 8 sticks.
