Brownies

Ingredients

Brownies

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Frosting

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 Tbsps. light cream
  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 Tbsps. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

Add sugar to eggs; beat. Melt chocolate and butter and add to egg mixture. Blend in flour; add vanilla and nuts. Spread in a greased 8x8x2" pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes; cool.

Combine frosting ingredients. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir until spreading consistency. Spread over cooled brownies. Cut into 2" squares.
