Salad Dressing

Posted by KimCollier on Jul 11, 2009

This came in an envelope with my grandmothers name on it. It was handwritten and slightly yellowed. I wonder where she had it and why she asked for it – not to mention who gave it to her.

Ingredients

1 cup Wesson Oil
¼ cup white vinegar
2 tsp garlic power

Instructions

Mix all three in jar and shake till well mixed, and refrigerate. Just before serving salad salt and pepper to taste and pour above mixture over chilled salad. Toss well to cover all greens and serve. Sometimes I sprinkle the garlic powder on salad with salt and pepper instead of mixing in oil and vinegar. You may also not want to use that much garlic powder.
