My mom LOVES this salad. She got the recipe from her best friend since high school's mom.
Drain and rinse beans. Combine with pimiento and onion sliced into thin rings. crush garlic into salt, combine with rest of ingredients in glass jar. Cover and shake well until blended. Pour over salad. Cover with foil and marinate in refrigerator overnight (or several days). Flavor seems to improve. Stir occasionally. Heap into shallow salad bowl or drain and serve on crisp lettuce. Makes 6 servings.
