White Raisin Bread

Ingredients

6 cups water
3/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp lard
1 1/2 tbsp salt
2 packs yeast
2 cups raisins

Instructions

Combine 2 packs yeast and tbsp sugar in 1 cup water. Mix enough flour for stiff dough. Pour this into bread pans. Add enough flour to make dough soft. Add raisins. Grease the top and let rise once. Knead it down. Second time it rises put in pans and let it rise 45 minutes. Bake in 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
