Cottage Cheese Dessert Topping

When my mom was younger she went through all of my grandmothers handwritten recipes and retyped them. On this particular recipe she spelled dessert as "desert." Kids are cute!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1/8 tsp. almond extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/4 cup raisins or chopped dates

Instructions

Beat cottage cheese until creamy. Add almond extract and sugar; mix well. Stir in nuts, raisins. Serve as topping for cake, pudding, or bar cookies.
