Cranberry Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 Stick Real Butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 C Powdered Sugar
  • 1 t Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 t Fine Grated Lemon Rind
  • 1 C Fresh Cranberries

Instructions

Pulse all ingredients in food processor. (The chunkier the cranberries the more tart it will be it also gives a pretty jewel look when put in a glass container.) Cream with room temperature butter and chill over night.

This compound butter goes well with dark breads alone or on your favorite leftover turkey sandwich!

This is similar to cranberry mustard which is great on poultry sandwiches. I love it. And you can get it at most grocery stores in the plastic container with the other mustards. Very good really.
