CRUST:
• 11⁄2 cups sifted flour
• 11⁄2 cups brown sugar
• 1⁄2 cup butter or margarine
FILLING:
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1 cup brown sugar, packed
• 11⁄2 cups angel flaked coconut
• 1 cup chopped nuts
• 2 tablespoons flour
• 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
FROSTING:
• 1 cup confectioners sugar
• 1 tablespoon melted butter
• Juice of 1 lemon
Mix crust ingredients, pat into 9x13-inch buttered dish. Bake at 275°F for 10 minutes.
Combine all filling ingredients. Spread on top of crust. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Spread frosting while warm. Cut into squares.
