SarahKate's Award-Winning Super Famous Really Good Couscous Salad

Ingredients

Well ok so I lied - there is no recipe. It just kind of came together with some stuff I already had and some stuff we thought of to throw in.  I told Marie (@biomouse) that admission to the cookoff was a side dish. She suggested I make something easy like couscous salad and she would make a caprese salad. I said, Hmmm, should we go the sun-dried tomato or the raisin route? And she said Raisin. So we went to the store and I got 2 boxes of couscous.  So there would be enough for the party.  Obviously you can make less or more as you choose.  You're all foodies. You can figure out how much of everything to add.  So here's the list of stuff we used:

Garlic and Olive Oil Couscous from a box - Far East brand I think, but I'm sure they're all good.

Pecans chopped up in my little food processor that my sister bought from some guy on the corner of Van Ness & Olive.  But I'm sure you could use whatever nut you feel like using.  If you feel like a nut, that is.  I'm sure walnuts would also work well.  Or even pinenuts.  Pinenuts used to be a hip ingredient, but I'm not sure if they are hopelessly out of style one of you would tell me, right?

A mixed bag of raisins and cranberries.  That sounded like a better idea than just one or the other - wouldn't you agree?

Fresh chopped parsley (I still have some left but I'm not really sure what to do with it before it goes bad.)

Lemon juice

Honey (Marie's idea totally - and a great idea at that - the perfect amount of sweet).

So then you mix it all together and chill and voilà!
