Easy Spinach Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) carton ricotta cheese 
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (26 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce 
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (8 oz.) package lasagna noodles
  • 3 cups fat free Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 (10 oz.) box frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained

Instructions

Spray 9X13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.  Mix together ricotta cheese, spinach and egg.  In baking dish, layer 1/3 jar spaghetti sauce, 1/3 mozzarella cheese, uncooked noodles, 1/3 ricotta mixture, 1/3 spaghetti sauce, 1/3 mozzarella, uncooked noodles, remaining ricotta mixture, remaining spaghetti sauce, and remaining mozzarella cheese.  Then pour 1 cup water all the way around the edge of the pan.  Cover with foil.  Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, 15 minutes.  Uncover for last 15 minutes.

Can be put together one day, refrigerated, and baked the next day.  Don't forget to put the 1 cup water around the edge just before baking.
