I had been looking forward to the opening of the Newsroom for some time as I am still reeling from the closing of Java Wava and looking for a new breakfast spot.
The inside is clean and pleasantly decorated.Several newspapers are available for patrons to read and a television with CNN on is located in the corner. There is also free wi-fi. As I ordered there was a bit of background noise coming from the kitchen which made it difficult for the staff to hear eachother and me. I ordered a Breakfast Burrito without meat(A request that was fulfilled easily) and a cup of coffee. The burrito was respectable, more flavorful than I am used to, but poorly constructed as it began to fall apart soon after I began eating. Overall this was a good experience, but the atmosphere doesn't quite measure up to places like the Revue and Java Wava. Next time I am downtown I will likely go, but I probably won't make a special trip.
