Lorena's

Reviewed by AttyKendall on Oct 13, 2009

What's it like?

I had a carne asada burrito. It was giant and the meat tasted like, well, like asada, which is steak. Good quality (and quantity) and delicious tasting meat. Before the meal tortilla chips served with fresh salsa and bean dip. This was a classic A-1 Mexican food dining experience. Ambiance is very casual. I noticed the chef was eating a seafood soup as I was leaving. I'll be trying that next.

Sorry about that, Chief. Lorena's is across from Roeding Park on Belmont near the Circle. It's regularly reasonably priced, not quite as low as Guadalajara, but not nearly as high as El Torito's or Acapulco (or even Don Pepe's anymore).
