Yesterday I was craving a taco and remembered a meal I'd eaten from Zamora Taqueria a couple of months back. I decided to satisfy my craving there. Zamora, an El Salvadorean restaurant, also serves Mexican food. I ordered a pupusa with calabacitas (kind of a stuffed tortilla with a cheese and squash flower filling), a taco asada, and chips and guacamole. I love Zamora's pupusas--and the calabacitas variety is mild, cheesy, and very satisfying in its charred goodness. The taco was small, but also really cheap ($1.25)--a corn tortilla stuffed full of meat, cilantro, and onion. The guacamole isn't the best I've ever tasted, but it's good enough--and the chips are thick and crunchy.
Don't go to Zamora looking for atmosphere--it's a hole-in-the-wall kind of place--but do go there if you'd like good food at a good value.

I've driven by there a million times and never thought to stop. Thanks.
