What's it like?

Oh my.....here's a BIG Fresno First. ROE is celebrating its renovated patio with a Croatian BBQ (yes....that's right. The Pacific Fusion Restaurant is going Adriatic with a full blown pig on a spit BBQ. I have had the Long Bones BBQ before and they catered a big blow out for me with a roasted lamb on the spit. If you've never had this before.....now's your chance.

oh wow...this sounds questionable...but super amazing at the same time. I guess if it's not the ROE chefs cooking the food I am in!

As mentioned below....not the ROE chefs (for the spit roasted pork) BUT "interesting"!

Thanks for the commercial, unless this is sarcasm, of which I approve.

It's so ODD that it is partial sarcasm. I mean...Pacific Fusion and Croatian.....??? Truthfully, it is good and it is NOT the regular Roe chefs. Again, ODD (but good) besides, its pig, right? what could be better LOL

ROE has had its fair share of controversies....so I question everything that goes on there...plus last time I checked, the sushi sucks. Great happy hour though!

SO True. Seems they are making a huge attempt to recover from the "issues", have a new GM and have "refreshed" the decor, patio, etc. I wish them luck as Fresno can be fickle and a bad rap can kill a market.

Odd? If by ODD you mean a Nightclub/Ultra-Lounge that has a restaurant and a wide variety of entertainment? For a minute I thought you were speaking of Twist. Oh right, same strip mall.

Odd? Sushi, no wait, BBQ Pig, no wait Pan-Asian Fusion and don't forget the Kid's Menu on the website. I suppose that Kid's Menu fits in with Ultra-Lounge and Pan-Asian Fusion somehow, but I'm missing the connection. Maybe if they provided day-care services during happy hour, so that parents could "unwind" after a tough day, that would make sense.

Odd? How about the All-You-Can-Eat Wok and Roll menu. Do they have video poker and slot machines for the Casino Experience too? I've really been missing out then.

Odd? Not at all. I often seek out North Fresno Ultra-Lounges that serve food and a wide variety of entertainment and cuisine, like AquaShi, Twist, and Belana.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Ahh, "Roe, AquaShi, Twist, and Belana!"

Restaurants that we are out / about-to go out of business any minute now due to the agreed "odd" sarcasms from above.

I hate restaurants that are unfocused. If they haven't learned already from the ones that are out of business, than they perhaps deserve to be.

LOL. Love the idea of day care services during happy hour.....reminds me of a winery event where I was pouring and noticed that the "tanked" couple in their 30's had two kids under 8 years of age in tow.

Personally I not crazy about the "ultra lounge" thing (no comment on the aforementioned restaurants) but I do like the caterer for this BBQ....

Somehow I am seeing that scene from Chinatown playing in my head:

Evelyn Mulwray: It's Sushi.
[Gittes slaps Evelyn]
Jake Gittes: I said I want the truth!
Evelyn Mulwray: It's Croatian...
[slap]
Evelyn Mulwray: It's Sushi...

Evelyn Mulwray: It's Sushi, It's Croatian.
[More slaps]
Jake Gittes: I said I want the truth!
Evelyn Mulwray: It's Sushi AND Croatian!
