Bella Pasta

Reviewed by Fadi Safadi on Aug 11, 2010

What's it like?

The never ending bitter-sweet delima of where to eat tonight usually starts with the distinct unique votes of individuals, rarely finding common ground. Among the arguments, I usually reach for my iPhone and check the latest on SavoryApp. This time I found a special for Seafood Paella @ Bella Pasta:
www.savoryapp.com/OfferDetails.aspx?offerID=784

I haven't had a good Paella for a while, actually, I think the last time was in April while traveling through Barcelona. I know what I must do, I have to win votes, there are 6 of us tonight, I have to sway a majority. The 2 kids are easy, spaghetti & meatballs always a favorite (and it helps that kids eat free there). Now I have a total of 3 votes, I need one more. I read the description to Vince, it is a unique special for this week only, fresh seafood...He's in!

The Paella, a slightly wet paella in seafood stock, lots of saffron, and a plethora of seafood. Actually more seafood than rice. A king crab claw sitting on top of the bowl, green muscles, clams, spicy italian sausage, calamari, scallops, salmon, halibut, tiger prawns, bay shrimp, and more. I am not exagerating. I added a little chilli powder to the mix, and enjoyed a feast that I sadly couldn't finish. Highly recommended.
