Yalla Yalla

Reviewed by Fadi Safadi on Dec 28, 2010

What's it like?

It was an early Christmas miracle, or so I felt. It is not often that a foodie reaps rewards besides the obvious horizontal expansion. When the chef from Cracked Pepper asks if you would like to preview the menu of his new restaurant, you must exercise restraint and attempt to accept the offer with some decorum.
The food was wonderful!
Hand crafted from scratch, a large selection of Mediterranean dishes was served family style so that you get the opportunity to sample most of the menu. The list of appetizers and entrees served was extensive, including expected items like hummus, baba-ghanouj, tabouleh, lula as well as unexpected creative additions.
Instead of attempting to provide insightful critique, I opted to impress the chef by the sheer quantity I can consume. It was a beautiful evening with lots of food finished with hand-made Mediterranean deserts. The grand opening is scheduled for the first week of January, I can’t wait. Thank you Chef.
