Taj of India

What's it like?

A friend of mine says this is the best Indian restaurant in town so I had to check it out because I love Indian food. After giving them a try, I agree! I went with my boyfriend and we ordered a lot of food: veggie samosas, paneer pakora, paneer masala, veggie korma, chai paneer, both garlic and butter naan and a Taj milkshake for dessert. The entrees came with a dish of Basmati rice on the side. My favorite dish has always been korma but our server, Lee, suggested we try the chai paneer and it was amazing, so luscious and flavorful. To end the meal, I tried the Taj milkshake. It was made with rose syrup. Cool, smooth with no little bits of ice, and refreshing. After the heat of the meal, it was perfect.

While the food was terrific, what put our experience over the top was our server. Our favorite places to eat are Trelio and Limon because of the consistently wonderful food and exemplary service and now we have another restaurant to add to that list. Lee was friendly yet authoritative, helpful, attentive and genuine. We will definitely be eating at Taj of India again.

Agreed on all counts. One of my favorite places as well.
