I've been to this restaurant a few times before and although the service was terrible the food made up for it. This time the experience was terrible. The service was unbearably slow and the wait staff literally did not speak any English! The food service wasn't timed at all—everyone got their food at different times making us have to wait for each other to be served and causing our food to get cold. My fiance and I ordered the exact same menu item but we were shocked when our meals contained different dishes. We were each served one dish that we know for sure shouldn't have been in our meal and it tasted terrible. We went with friends who brought a Restaurants.com gift certificate for $25 and India's Oven refused to honor the gift certificate.
This was a very bad experience and we all vowed not to return.

I've had similar service here before. It used to be my spot to go but has dwindled over the years. Now my new Indian spot is the new place in Riverpark by Hooters called Curry House. Really good service and food.

We have fallen for Mehmet de Punjab--at Shaw/Marks. Never a bad meal, well-timed, pleasant service, always friendly--and many Sikh and Indian customers--

I, too, experienced poor service here. BUT LO AND BEHOLD I have found a newer, awesomer Indian restaurant. The CURRY HOUSE. Right next to Limon Restaurant (which is next to Hooters) in Riverpark. Non is good/fresh/hot. Robert Schultz, can I get a witness?
