Although they are trying for high end their offerings are standard fare.
Everything is al a carte. I will say they are more than generous with portions!
We selected the lemon chicken and honey walnut shrimp. Both were cooked properly although we noted a few things....
The chicken breading clearly gave away that they are using frozen cutlets.
Lemon sauce was not made from scratch; bright neon yellow and quite cloying in taste.
The shrimp were cooked perfectly but there was an odd creamy sauce on them. Mayonnaise? cream? could not tell.
Possibly some of the non-descript 'salad dressing' often found at Asian places? A bit off putting.
By the way, the service was nice and brisk with plenty of staff around.
Overall, not bad; just not anything to get excited about. I'm sure we'll give it another try just to see if anything comes close to some peoples excitement.
