They should be ashamed for serving what they call Brisket. It was a small pile of paper thin slices, finished on a grill. No flavor and tough as nails. Not once but twice was I served this. I explained to them quietly and politely that they shouldn’t slice brisket with the grain and not to finish on a grill, because it was too thin and lean. They didn’t listen.
My wife had the Meatless Melt. She had to return hers because it was missing the Portabella Mushrooms. They re-made it, but it wasn’t anything special. One slice of cheese for a whole grilled cheese sandwich?
On a better note; After returning the two plates, I ordered the ½ Lb Cheeseburger. THAT was good! Nice and juicy. Btw - They still charged me for the Brisket Plate $11.50 vs the Cheeseburger $6.95. :,(
Here is my wife’s choice of words on FB: “Dangers of being a foodie in Fresno: Waited anxiously for the organic, all natural restaurant to open here, only to figure out we can make it better at home! Another restaurant that ruins brisket and grilled cheese! Ugh :-/”

Fyi - I received a response from the owner earlier today and explained how much busier they have been than expected. He also offer a coupon for a free dinner for my wife and I. I declined the offer only because I believe he could have just ignored me and moved on. His apology was acceptable enough. I'll return soon enough.

That's really too bad. Great brisket isn't hard, it just takes a lot of time and tending to.

I'll pass right on by next time...
Let me start off by saying the decor is executed beautifully. Unfortunately that’s about the only positive that can be said. I had the "spicy Italian" and spicy it was NOT. Not only was it very mild it was also quite bland in flavor (the items we ordered lacked salt all together it seemed) the other item we ordered was the Portabella Lasagna I felt it was sloppy and bland as well. I do have to say the Brisket was very Tough and also lacking in flavor. The customer service felt forced. The young man was very reserved and a little snobbish. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Food...Bland Service...Poor. Too bad there are not many "natural/Healthy/Organic" type restaurants in or around Fresno, but I'll wait till a new one pops up before I attempt Nature's Grill again.

If you're going to try Nature's Grill, I would recommend the New York Lucy; hand down the BEST burger I've ever had!!! They stuff the meat patty with pastrami and swiss cheese. MMMMMMMM!!!!
